‘Tis the season for appetizers – aka one of my favourite food groups. There’s something so satisfying about eating a little bit of a lot of things, don’t you think? A little nibble here, a bite there, a scoop of that over there. Some of the best meals out involve everyone crowding around the table, snacking on a bunch of appetizers, family-style. Good food, good company, good vibes, no pressure.
I’m going to cut straight to the chase. This dip = DELICIOUS.
It’s incredibly satisfying to eat and simple to make. In fact, this really isn’t so much a “recipe” but more of a suggestion to just throw all these ingredients together, to your taste preference, and call it a day. Serve it up and watch your guests devour it. Don’t like sundried tomatoes? Omit them and replace with kalamata olives. Prefer low-fat greek yogurt? Go for it!
No blending, mixing, or mashing required. Just layer up the ingredients and serve with crackers or chips. Pita chips make an excellent compliment to the Mediterranean feel of the dish.
Creamy greek yogurt (use plain!), garlicky pesto, tangy sundried tomatoes, drizzled with a generous splash of EVOO and pine nuts. It’s a wonderful medley of textures and flavours.
And did I mention it takes only 5 minutes to make?
So get dippin’!

I love this recipe! I never thought to make it from scratch before but it’s perfect for us because my husband is lactose intolerant (so we use lactose free yogurt) and I can’t have garlic
Thanks!!
