Honey Bourbon Pecan Pie

Deliciously sticky, sweet and nutty with a kick of bourbon.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • ½ cup corn syrup
  • ½ cup honey
  • 2 Tbsp bourbon
  • 3 Tbsp flour
  • 1 Tbsp butter, melted
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • 1 prepared 9-inch pie crust
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Whisk together brown sugar, corn syrup, honey, bourbon, flour, butter, vanilla, salt and eggs in a large bowl. Stir in pecans.
  3. Pour mixture into prepared pie crust. Bake for 45 minutes until center is set. Cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
If you have the time, I recommend refrigerating the pie overnight for the best flavour. Letting it sit for those extra few hours really kicks the bourbon up a notch.
