Ingredients
  • 4 cups water
  • 4 tsp sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds
  • 2 small slices fresh ginger
  • 4 green cardamom pods
  • 4 bags Orange Pekoe tea (~5 tsp loose tea)
  • 1 cup milk (almond, soy or other milk for vegan)
Instructions
  1. Bring water, sugar and spices to a boil in a medium saucepan. Once boiling, reduce to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat, add tea, cover and let steep for an additional 5 minutes.
  3. Add milk, heat through to warm and serve immediately, straining out the whole spices.
